VOM Moving it On Again...
'The Vale Of Mowbray' have completed their second phase of 8 candidates on 'IOSH Managing Safely v 3.0' and 12 candidates on 'CIEH Intermediate Certificate in Supervising Health and Safety' courses in January 09 and 44 staff have taken our CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Manufacturing in March 09.
We've enjoyed conducting all the above courses, the training was split to suit the factories production and office teams over a nine day period, 'Managing Safely' in the morning and Supervising Health and Safety in the afternoons..... flexible training at its best!

CATraining are pleased to announce we have just secured a major consultancy contract with.......York Hospitals NHS Trust to deliver new and up to date Health and Safety systems, policies and procedures for their York District hospital and the trusts satellite sites which cover all aspects of heath and safety risk management from patients to staff, from on site engineering to construction and project management. We are very proud and pleased to be taking on this project and looking forward to the challenge ahead.

Our third Managing Safely course this year for 'Henshaws College' is another success for all the deligates, Henshaws have now put 23 of there Managers through our 'IOSH Manageing Safely v 3.0' training course with a 100% pass rate. Well done again to an excellent group of candidates.

A further seven Managers from Henshaws college for the visually impaired have completed and passed the 4 day Managing Safely v 3.0 course, with excellent results, and special congratulations going to Emma Brook gaining an outstanding 100% in her assignment and to Vicky Cheney with a very good 90% in her written examination!!!
Our third course at the college is underway and we hope it will give similar results and benefits to the college in Harrogate and its group operations in Liverpool and Newcastle.
'Danby's Foods' in Masham, are currently putting 38 new staff through the CIEH Level 2 award in Food Safety in manufacturing, the first 3 training days went well with all employees passing the course.
Also the senior team have taken our CIEH Level 3 in HACCP for manufacturing, the team have a system in place and there standards are high, but wanted the whole of there HACCP steering committee taking through the course, (including their MD.... nice to see involvement and buy in at all levels of their business!).

Canteen staff at 'Corus' Steel pipe Manufacturing site Hartlepool has put all seven of its contract catering staff through our CIEH Level 2 in Food Safety in catering course, with 100% pass rate. Everyone on the course was very enthusiastic and this showed in their results and the facility. Well done everyone!
New.. 'CIEH awards in HACCP for manufacturing' course added to our range of products view it in in Food Safety Courses opposite. It is now the 'LAW' that you should have a HACCP based system in all food handling businesses.
Yorkshire Cottage Bakery cooking up good results on our CIEH Awards in Food Safety.
The Bradford based bakery has put 142 of its staff through our food safety course which is being run in English and Urdu, resulting in 100% of the candidates passing the course. Everyone was very enthusiastic and were very positive about the training and their business and how they can have an input into their site going forward. Many thanks to Tillat Yasin for his work as interpreter.
