The working safely syllabus concentrates on:-

Introduction to working safely
Defining hazards and risk
Identifying common hazards
Improving safety performance
Protecting our environment

This is a move from the traditional ‘chalk and talk’ method of training and is designed to be high impact and interactive to improve and stimulate the candidate to engage with the subject matter, maximising the training experience.

By the end of the course delegates will have a good understanding of their responsibilities and those placed upon the employer.

 

Delegates will be fully briefed in the requirements of major safety legislation and standards, so they will understand the need to formulate and implement effective Health and Safety procedures within their organisation.

Delegates are required to undertake a written and practical assessment.

Successful candidates will receive an IOSH Working Safely Certificate or a credit size passport.
